ALIVE Magazine: Freelance Copywriting
After launching their re-branded zine format, I joined ALIVE Magazine as a contributing writer. In the freelance role, I helped build upon the already robust content, writing articles that were primarily highlighting small businesses in the St. Louis area.
For The Movement of Makers and A Conversation with Boo McLoughlin and Jackie Chambers, I interviewed business owners, transcribed our lengthy conversations, and then crafted a question and answer style format, ensuring the piece had flow.
After this, I wrote for the short-lived enterprise: ALIVE Weddings. This print piece released two volumes. In each I wrote concise, rich 250-word retellings of the couple’s meeting, engagement, and celebration.
